Connect WhatsApp
Your own WhatsApp Business number, and who Meta bills for it.
- A number that is not on personal WhatsApp. One already on the WhatsApp Business app works too: connect it in Meta's window and keep using the app.
- An SMS or call on that number, to verify it.
- Your business name, as customers should see it.
Steps
- Set up → Channels → Connect, next to WhatsApp. Meta's window opens.
- Create or pick a business profile and enter the number.
- Type the code Meta sends, and finish to the end.
Use a number you'll keep. Customers save the number they first messaged, and moving one later is slow.

Your plan's allowance, which covers what the assistant reads and writes — on every channel.
